My name is Michael, and this is my story. For most of my life, I have gone to church. I was the quiet one in the group, struggling with insecurities, even though I had an extroverted side. I prayed for confidence, and God shaped me through the people around me. But along the way, I had doubts—not just about myself, but about church, its finances, and even if God was real.

Then I moved to Australia, and everything changed. Life became a real test. I went from comfort to crisis in every way—finances, career, relationships. There were days when I had no money to pay rent, times when I felt completely alone, and even a period when I had no place to live. I was robbed, I struggled, and I questioned everything.

But in the hardest moments, God showed me He was real. Just when I had no money, someone would step in to help. When I was without a home, friends welcomed me in—without asking for anything in return. When I felt lost, He placed the right people around me. Even the day my motorbike was stolen, I had taken out insurance just the day before. Too many things happened for them to be coincidences. These were clear signs that God had my back.

Through this experience, I realised that God wasn’t just helping me—He was calling me. One day at church, I felt a deep conviction to use my skills, creativity, and passion for business to do something for Him. That’s how Owned by God was born—not just as a brand, but as a declaration. A reminder that everything we have and everything we are belongs to Him.

As I kept seeking Him, He gave me even more clarity. In 1 Peter 2:9 and Ephesians 2:10, He tells us that we are His chosen people, created to share our testimonies and do good works. That’s the purpose of Owned by God—to encourage people to wear their faith boldly, to live as proof of His love, and to inspire others to encounter Him.
